GLACIAL TILL SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

 

Glacial Till Vineyard & Winery is continuing to expand our vineyard, retail, and event business to the point we will be needing to expand our staff in 2017.  The following are brief descriptions of types of positions and people we will be looking to hire.  If you are interested in any of the offered positions, please fill out the form at the bottom of this page.  It is not a requirement that you must work every event or market to be considered as many of these positions are part time and seasonal.

Event Center Bartender:  Will be required to work primarily weekends tending bar at weddings, private parties, and Glacial Till hosted events.  Must be 21 and prior experience would be desirable but not required.  Hourly pay + tips.

 

Event Center Staff:  Will be required to work primarily weekends assisting in the preparation for events, including cleaning, set up, and take down for events.  During events, staff will assist in clearing tables, picking up trash, and keeping bathrooms stocked and clean.  Hourly pay.

 

Vineyard & Production Labor: Will be able to work outside and do physical labor including building trellises, planting grapes, pruning, mowing, landscape maintenance, bottling/kegging, and keg/winery cleaning. Hourly pay.

 

Lincoln & Omaha Farmer’s Market Sales:  Will be required to work weekends in either Omaha or Lincoln at the Farmer’s Market.  Must be able to lift cases of wine and set up booth display.  Must be 21 or older.  Typical hours range from 6:30AM to 2:30PM.  Sales and customer service skills needed.  Hourly pay with sales incentive.

 

Vineyard Tour & Tasting Guide:  Will be required to lead small groups on a tour of the vineyard & winery.  Basic knowledge of our vineyard operations and wines must be acquired through training so that a Guide can be competent and informative during the Tour & Tasting.  People skills and interest in grapes and wines needed.  Hourly pay with sales incentive.

 

Glacial Till Tasting Room “Ashland Location” Staff: Will be required to assist with cleaning, set up, and food prep in the tasting room.  In addition, working at the bar serving wine, conducting wine tastings, selling wine and merchandise is a requirement.  Customer service skill needed and a minimum of 21 years of age is required to work behind the bar.  Hourly pay.
